About Dr Meredith Ogilvie-Brown

Dr Meredith Ogilvie-Brown is a Consultant Physician in Rehabilitation Medicine. Currently, she is not accepting private referrals.

Meredith graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and began her medical career as a physiotherapist, working in public and private hospitals as well as in community health. In 2008, she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland’s School of Medicine.

Dr Ogilvie-Brown is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician, taking a lead role in rehabilitation teams. An advocate for goal-focused treatment, Meredith enjoys the team environment of rehabilitation therapy and her approach is highly collaborative, ensuring that treatments and therapies are optimised to suit her patient’s goals.

Professional experience and qualifications

Dr Meredith Ogilvie-Brown completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2003, at the University of Queensland. After graduation, she practiced in hospitals and community health settings providing specialist pelvic floor physiotherapy as well as general physiotherapy.

In 2008, Meredith graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. As a junior doctor and rehabilitation registrar, she worked in both rural and urban hospitals throughout Queensland.

Dr Ogilvie-Brown is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland’s School of Medicine. Her research has been published internationally and she continues to be involved in new research projects as well as the education of medical students and junior doctors.
